Free Play
We dedicate ample time to free play in our daily schedule. Each child may choose what and for how long they wish to play – the child’s interest is in the foreground. This ensures that each child can develop at their own pace.
The selection of toys is tailored to the children’s age and needs.
Group Activities
Daily activities, sometimes involving combined groups, foster a sense of community. Through painting, crafting, singing, movement, cooking, and baking, as well as storytelling and dramatic play, the senses are activated, and children are supported in their social, perceptual, creative, and motor development.
On our daily excursions through the forest, Irchelpark, or in our large garden, we enable children to experience nature with all their senses.
Naptime and Other Rituals
Napping during midday is a necessity for most young children. Children who cannot sleep may play quietly in another room.
Daily rituals, such as morning greetings, lunchtime, or naptime, provide children with a sense of security and consistency. However, the highlights of the year are also recurring rituals.
Events for parents and children, such as the Räbeliechtliumzug, a summer festival, a carnival party, or a visit from Samichlaus, are part of this. Naturally, we also celebrate the children’s birthdays within their respective groups.
