MenuNew: Afternoon Care (“Hort”) at Irchelkindergarten
Starting from the upcoming kindergarten year (beginning Summer 2026), Irchelkindergarten is expanding its services:
We now offer flexible after-school care for children attending a public kindergarten.
With this service, we aim to provide families with a reliable, high-quality and easy-to-plan childcare solution.
Our afternoon care at a glance
- Care from 12:00 PM including lunch; flexible care options until 2:00 PM or for the entire afternoon, Monday to Friday. Days and times can be selected/adjusted monthly, as well as separately for the school holiday period (“Ferienhort”).
- Opening hours until 6:30 PM
- Our team will pick up the children from the public kindergarten
- Consistent groups and fixed key carers
- Small group with a maximum of 18 children per day
- A calm, familiar environment at Irchelkindergarten – our afternoon care is only available to children of kindergarten age
It is important to us that children feel safe, secure, and seen even after kindergarten. Through small groups and consistent caregivers, we can cater to children individually and offer them a structured, relaxed afternoon.
At the same time, parents benefit from clear structures, longer opening hours and reliable care from one single provider.
